Ultrasonic Leak Detection
Ultrasonic’s covers your non-rotating assets including compressed air lines, valves,
steam lines, steam traps, pressure vessels, and vacuum chambers. It can also be used
with IR Thermography to locate electrical faults in power distribution applications.
Leak detection is one of the primary applications for Ultrasonics. Plants have reported
significant energy cost savings by locating and removing leaks in plant air, steam lines,
gas lines and other pressurized systems. Good Vibrations can perform a whole plant assessment
while both documenting and tagging leaks, and then perform a follow-up to verify the repairs
and calculate cost savings.
